He was great to work with, very knowledgeable, kind, good listener, great at follow up and staying in contact with us. We needed some drywall repair work done in our kitchen. The cabinet installer determined that one of our kitchen soffits was not level. He thought it best that the soffit be repaired before installing the trim molding. Julian immediately contacted us upon our request and came out to look at the task. Because he did not want to overcorrect the soffit, he recommended that the cabinet installer install the trim first,; then he would be able to level the soffit. Everything worked out beautifully! Our cabinet installer returned to install the trim and then Julian finished the leveling of the soffit. My husband and I would highly recommend Julian for all your drywall needs.

Comments: I had looked around for a wall repair service before settling on Flat Roof, they were certainly the best choice I had come across. They came out to see me on short notice without appointment, were more thorough and professional in assessing my wall damage, and completely up front about everything. They cost more than the other quote I got (and also caught more problems), but they actually told me this would likely be the case when I first called. they put quality over cost and comparing to the other services I called I believe them all the way. They also managed to find a previously unseen contribution to my wall leak issue while doing the originally planned repairs. The work was completed less than a day after their initial inspection and it is guaranteed should I run into any future problems. I will certainly consider them for any future repair work. The only problem I ran across was that I forgot to ask for a receipt and did not receive one.

Comments: This project involved repair of damage from an ice dam. The drywall repair turned out to be a small area of the ceiling. Julian also repaired the roof were the caulking had cracked along some flashing. He recommended that the wood paneling on the wall not be removed as it could be repaired and would save money.

Our project was as a result of a major leak in an upstairs bathroom that required lot of new plumbing in a kitchen wall downstairs. In order to prevent leaks from occurring in the future a pipe had to be extended quite a distance outside of where the previous wall was. This presented quite a challenge because the old and new or repaired drywall had to be blended some how and still be pleasing to the eye. Julian was the only one to present a viable solution but it required a skill level few professionals have.

Comments: I called Julian on a Tuesday along with a number of other suppliers. He came by and really did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem. He was the only supplier to actuall "feel" the damanged area. The others just looked at it and gave a price. Julian talks a lot about value engineering and he walks the talk. His rate was less than half of what his competitors quoted and he actually did other repairs and threw them in. Very courteous. He and his son did the work. Very thorough work and a nice person to boot.

From the moment I contacted him, I knew exactly the type of work that was going to be done in my home.
